Designed to relieve pain and inflammation with far infrared heat therapy, penetrating 10x deeper to increase blood flow to the source of pain in the knees, thighs and calves.

The Knee System utilizes two patented far infrared inserts.

Disappointed.

I am a fan of Thermotex infra red heating products but the knee pad was a disappointment. I got the impression from the ad that it would fully wrap around my knee providing heat from almost all directions. Instead the two heating units sit on either side of my knee, not providing heat over the patella.i have moderately large legs , being a 200 lb. man, so the coverage might be better on someone with smaller limbs. For me the device should have a 3rd element to fully cover the knee. It is large enough to accommodate this (might need to be more expensive and/or offered in different sizes depending on knee circumference). I have a large thermotex pad for my back and this new pad is not an improvement over wrapping that pad around my leg and securing it with a strap.
